Elephants in captivity are a controversial topic, yet in many locations within their natural habitat they are a crucial part of local trades. In some areas their strength is key to the logging industry, while in other places they are an essential part of tourism through elephant rides.

This short film explains some of the changes that have been made through the work of Elephant Aid International so far across Asia, and where further improvements to captive conditions can be made in the future.
